R. Federer
Federer is well on the way to defend the title. Last season he was better than R. Nadal in the final. The Swiss is currently playing very good tennis and he will certainly be able to compete with much younger colleagues for a long time. In the second round of the season, Hungarian tennis player M. Fucsovics had a first-hand experience of playing more than two hours on the field in a duel against Federer.
Since it is a poorly ranked player, you can say that he offered solid resistance, especially in the second set, the Federer decided only in the tie-break in his own favor. Also in the first round, Federer did not make it easy to break. After two lost sets, the Hungarian tennis player’s motivation declined quite a bit, which made Federer’s job easier, and so he won the decisive set fairly easily.

T. Berdych
Berdych continues with the good games and after being batted against J.M. Del Potro celebrated without loss of set, he has also celebrated against the Italian F. Fognini after three sets played. The match lasted a little over two hours and Fognini was only able to win nine games during that time, which was below expectations. The Italian shone in some moment and was even better than Berdych, but that was short-lived and so he had no chance to get a positive result.
