The Lakers have really improved their form of play and in the last 15 matches they have the second best record in the entire league as they have even recorded 11 wins. In addition, they have a series of seven straight wins at home, so they are not outsiders to Oklahoma. Currently, they have 22 wins and 31 defeats, which is still very far from the eighth position and the playoff. Compared to last season, however, the Lakers have made progress as they had just 26 wins at the end of last season.
