Madison Keys, serial head no. 17 at the Australian Open, is credited with the first chance in Monday morning against Caroline Garcia, headline no. 8. The American, although only 22 years old, has achieved impressive results so far, driving it to the 20th WTA. In the first three games played here, against Wang, Alexandrov and Bogdan won without losing the set. He is very aggressive in the game, he instinctively strikes, and at some moments there is a lack of sport maturity, wanting too much from some blows. He runs very well after the ball and is able to return even the most difficult positions, which makes him an extremely awkward opponent for many players. On the other side, Garcia is a player who strongly strikes the ball, impressing him with effect. He earns important points by serving at key moments of matches, and here he can even surprise Keys. The French player has already played two decisive sets so far, with a weaker opponent, but he has played well. It will be a balanced match, chances of both sides, probably decided by a few mistakes. I expect Garcia to steal at least a set of Keys.
